Description
The Electrically Instructed Person (EIP) training is intended for employees without electrical qualifications and covers the fundamentals in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100, including hazards caused by electric current and the necessary protective measures. It outlines the defined tasks on or near electrical installations and equipment that participants may carry out under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician. The course ends with an assessment. A practical instruction in the company is required and work on live parts is not permitted.
Benefits
Participants build a solid understanding of electrical risks, essential protective measures and the clear limits of their role when working around electrical equipment. The course covers the core theory in line with DIN VDE 0105-100 and prepares them to carry out defined EIP tasks safely and compliantly under the direction and supervision of a qualified electrician. This enhances everyday safety and contributes to reducing accidents.
Training certificate
After successfully passing the exam, participants receive a certificate of competence for testing the electrical equipment of machines in accordance with DIN VDE 0105-100, including details of the course contents and training hours.
